Contents
Per 5 mL Triprolidine HCl 1.25 mg, pseudoephedrine 30 mg, dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg
Indications/Uses
Unproductive cough accompanying allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis, hay fever, nasal congestion, common cold.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >12 yr 10 mL, 6-12 yr 5 mL, 2-5 yr 2.5 mL. To be taken 3 times daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
MAOIs, severe HTN.
Special Precautions
Diabetes, HTN, heart disease, hyperthyroidism, elevated IOP, prostatic enlargement. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Childn <2 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Drowsiness, sleep disturbances, skin rashes, dryness of nose, mouth & throat. Occasionally, urinary retention.
Drug Interactions
Avoid use w/in 2 wk of MAOI.
